Based primarily in the Medical Research Building on the University of Sussex campus the post-holder will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient technical service for staff and students.
Responsibilities include providing laboratory inductions, preparation of laboratory materials, cleaning, maintenance and repair of equipment and instruments and accurate record keeping.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in laboratories in a university or similar setting and have a good understanding of health & safety in the laboratory environment. You will be committed to providing good customer service and have a willingness to work outside normal hours on some occasions.
