Job description

Open to all HEKSS trainees at ST3 and above

We are looking for an enthusiastic clinician with some previous experience of delivering Simulation Based Education to join our faculty team in the Department of Medical Education (DME) for 12 months as an ‘out of programme experience’ (OOPE), beginning in October 2018.

The successful candidate will become involved in teaching both simulation and general medicine on specific courses within the department e.g. Physician Associate Programme, and undertake research as part of an ongoing longitudinal study on our students (accelerated learning at Masters Level).  The role includes teaching, exposure to course design, examining & assessment, and the development of Technology Enhanced learning.

We can offer the opportunity for you to study 3 funded postgraduate modules in simulation, leadership, research and education as part of this role.
