Job description 

Applications are invited for a Senior Lecturer in Translational Neuroscience at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS). 

The post is open to suitably qualified individuals working in the field of human clinical neurosciences with an established academic track record in research defining target mechanisms and implementation of novel bio-behavioural or related therapies for management of neurological and/or neuropsychiatric symptoms.  

The appointee is anticipated to have experience in proof-of-principle and clinical trials, complementing growing departmental strengths in bio-behavioural interventions and related experimental medicine. 

Evidence of knowledge and education in pathways for translating and/or commercializing innovation into applications within the health care sector, and experience working beyond higher education establishments e.g. with industry partners will be looked upon favourably.  

The appointee with contribute to developing BSMS research impact and contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate education.
