Job description

The University of Sussex is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and experienced learning technology professional to the role of Senior Learning Technologist within Technology Enhanced Learning.  The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, an ability to manage complex processes and a demonstrable understanding of how technologies can be used effectively in teaching, learning and assessment.   

This important new position will take a leading role in implementing and promoting the adoption of the University's new virtual learning environment.  The role requires specialist knowledge of learning design principles and will have a particular focus on working with members of academic staff to support the development of pedagogically sound modules and courses, rich in interactivity and high quality learning objects.

We are looking for someone with relevant knowledge of current and emerging technologies who can contribute to the on-going development of the University’s technology enhanced learning systems, projects and services.

This role will suit a motivated individual with proven experience in learning technology and the delivery of large-scale learning technology projects.
