This post provides an ideal opportunity to be involved in both research and clinical MRI, CT and PETCT at the Clinical Imaging Sciences Centre (CISC), which is part of the Brighton and Sussex Medical School, situated at the University of Sussex.
Following the installation of a 3T MRI scanner, that is in addition to our existing 1.5T scanner, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our small team and work alongside researchers and health care professionals undertaking research for both the University and clinical trials, as well as providing clinical services for the NHS and other sectors.
Previous experience in MRI is preferable but candidates must have experience in either PETCT or MRI. You will be required to participate in all imaging modalities and full training will be given where necessary. You will also be required to support undergraduate and post graduate training.
There will be a preference for a suitably qualified grade 7 radiographer but applications are invited for both grades. Candidates are asked to specify which post they are applying for. HCPC registration is essential.
Please note that the post holder will be required to participate in the rota to cover extended working hours, minimum service days and bank holidays. Payment for this work will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions for the post.
