Job description

We are looking for an experienced, well-organised and self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills to provide financial administrative support to a new NIHR-funded Global Health Research Unit with a budget of £5.75 million.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be highly numerate and able to thrive in a multidisciplinary research environment that includes overseas partners.
  • Be able to undertake day-today management of large budgets (e.g. preparing reports, monitoring project expenditure) within the terms of University accounting procedures and financial regulations.
  • Provide a professional interface between the Unit and the Finance Division at the University of Sussex.
