Hours: Part time, 7.5 hours per week

Salary: starting at £20,989 and rising to £24,285 per annum/pro rata

This post provides administrative support for the British Academy and DFID funded project “Brokered Migration for Domestic Work and Construction Work in Ghana and Myanmar”.
The role involves a variety of tasks which include: supporting the project PI, Dr Priya Deshingkar, organising meetings and workshops, booking travel and accommodation; processing claims and expenses forms; engaging with internal and external stakeholders; day-to-day management of the budget and project monitoring; financial and narrative reporting for the funder) with help from University finance; help with producing content for the project website and web site updating if required, maintaining data and records.
The successful candidate will be dynamic, versatile and outgoing, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. With expertise with budgets, event organising, and some web background, the post holder will have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of international academics and other colleagues and partners to support a high profile research portfolio.
