Applications are invited for the post of Programme Administrator in the BSMS Curriculum Support Team. This post is based within our Postgraduate team, which is on the University of Brighton Falmer campus.
The postholder is part of the curriculum support team that manages the organisation and administration of teaching and assessments for a range of courses. The role will assist with course development and delivery, examination process, servicing of programme meetings, and will be required to keep up to date with all aspects of departmental policy and procedures.
They will work closely with BSMS academic and administrative staff, colleagues in units in the parent universities and clinical staff in NHS partner organisations.
The post-holder will be required to make occasional visits to the Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) buildings at the University of Sussex.
Applicants should have a good standard of education and possess excellent IT, communication and organisational skills.
The post requires a high level of personal responsibility, initiative and attention to detail. Whilst administrative in nature, the post also involves a number of physical and practical tasks away from a desk environment, e.g. setting up rooms for teaching and assessments, transporting equipment / resources between rooms on the campus.
