The University of Sussex is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee the implementation of our new cloud hosted Virtual Learning Environment.
You will be required to utilise strong technical experience to manage the setup, rollout and transition to service of our new VLE which will integrate with our Student Record System and Lecture Capture solution. The new platform will provide a unified solution to meet the on and off campus needs of the University including the University’s new Online Distance Learning course provision.
Ideally candidates will have experience of similar projects and working within the higher education sector. Strong stakeholder management skills are vital, as well as all round excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with technical teams as well as academics and students.
The Project Manager will be based in IT Services and work closely with colleagues in Technology Enhanced Learning and the University Project Services team as well as with the software vendor and other third parties.
