| I am a linguist, specialising in syntactic theory and the syntax of Hausa and related Chadic and Afroasiatic languages. My current research interests include typological and comparative work, particulary in relation to the syntax of focus. I am currently working on a book about the syntax of focus in Hausa, and am preparing a textbook on cognitive linguistics with my colleague Vyv Evans. | ||||
