Applying to American Express

Applying to American Express to join the University Development Centre is a very different experience to applying to Sussex directly. You get to pass on filling out the university application form, and head straight for the Amex one instead.

Once you've managed that there are then a series of tests and interviews to get through. It is not an easy process. But then, not many graduate schemes are easy to get onto!

The online tests include aptitude tests for Maths and English. There is then an interview day, including a series of interviews representing different aspects of business experiences including presenting information and interviewing stakeholders, and a competency-based interview.
