I am a DPhil Candidate in Cognitive Science at Sussex University and my supervisor is Richard Cox.

My bachelor degree is in Computer Science. I got it in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) at Science Faculty (2005). In 2006 I received an scholarship by CONACyT for getting the DPhil degree.

My research topic is about graph comprehension in primary school children. In particular, I am interested in studing the graph as picture 'misconception'. I will develop an interactive software that will be used as a research tool, and later, for educational use. I would like to use this information to design and implement well research-based software and to understand more about the cognitive process that are involved in graph comprehension (using a developmental perspective).

I am in the Representation and Cognition Group (RepCog) in the Informatics Department.
