The red wolf is the coat of arms of Passau. Between 1986 and
1992 I lived (and studied) in that city called the Bavarian
Venice, because of its location at the confluence of the three rivers Danube, Inn and Ilz. The city was founded by the old Romans.
Passau is a nice university city of about 50,000 inhabitants. It is only 30min from Passau to the Bavarian Forest and 90min to Munich (by car). Passau has a fantastic dome with the world's largest organ.
