New Approaches to WMD Proliferation

Seminar Outline

Six seminars were hosted by the core institutions between June 2005 and January 2007.

Seminars 1 and 6 were hosted by SPRU - Science and Technology Policy Research at the University of Sussex. These meetings were open and concluded the series providing opportunities to both assess the current situation, define the seminar agenda, and to bring together the themes discussed and consider future research. The remaining four seminars were one-day meetings at the Department of Science and Technology Studies at UCL, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Defence Academy at the Joint Services Command and Staff College and the Defence Studies Department at King's College, London. They each dealt with cross-cutting themes affecting chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons.
