TOWARDS A BIBLIOMETRIC DATABASE FOR THE SOCIAL SCIENCES AND THE HUMANITIES: A EUROPEAN SCOPING PROJECT
Introduction
This project is a collaboration between the ANR (France), DFG (Germany), ESRC/AHRC (United Kingdom), NWO (Netherlands) and the European Science Foundation) and the project secretariat is run out of SPRU at the University of Sussex. The main objective of the project is “to advise the European Science Foundation (ESF) Standing Committees for the Social Sciences and the Humanities, and national research councils and academies, on the feasibility and development of a robust bibliometric database for assessing the impact of all types of research output in these domains.”
