Dr Adriana Castaldo

Research Officer     MSc (Southampton, UK), PhD (Naples, Italy)

Adriana is an economist currently working as a Research Fellow of the Development Research Centre on Migration, Globalisation and Poverty at the University of Sussex. Her current research interests lie in the field of international migration from developing countries with a focus on the analysis of the determinants of migration choice and intentions. Recent research includes work in the field of Decision Theory, modelling choice under uncertainty, and working with statistical analysis of household data sets, having measured the impact of the Mexican anti-poverty programme 'PROGRESA' on the school enrolment of children.
