economic exclusion and minority groups
research agenda
We are producing a report for the Minority Rights Group on economic exclusion and minority groups. The report will demonstrate that minority groups usually face high levels of poverty and that minority groups are more likely to be excluded from a range of public and private goods, services and institutions. TWe argue that such discrimination is not only undesirable from an ethical or international human rights perspective, but is also economically inefficient and may eventually be detrimental to both economic growth and the achievement of international development targets.
